At Park Rail, we specialize in railings. We are the only company in Atlantic Canada to provide railings as a sole focus. Our team is made up of construction and building experts who are able to use their expertise to offer guidance, consultation and recommendations. We provide and install a wide variety of high-quality railing products that are aesthetically pleasing and cost-effective for both commercial and residential clients. Our goal is to help you save time and resources, all while meeting your deadlines.

Our 8-person installation team is comprised of construction and building experts who work with clients, builders, and developers every step of the way. How do I maintain my railing?
Aluminum railings require minimal care and maintenance. We recommend your railing be inspected and cleaned at least twice per year with a mild, non-abrasive soap and water, using a soft sponge.
What is the wind rating?
The glass has been wind load tested to 150mph.
Are tempered glass panels available for stair sections?
Yes, we offer 6” wide angled glass panels for stair railing that will work on most standard staircases.
What is the spacing between pickets?
Spacing between pickets is typically 3 7/8” as building codes typically ask for a space not exceeding 4”.
What heights are available?
There are two standard heights: 36” and 42”. Other heights are available at your request.
What colours are available?
Many customers opt for one of four standard colours: Polar White, Sandalwood, Tudor Brown, or Midnight Black. In addition to these standard colours, we also offer: Linen Cream, Almond, Wicker, Oyster Grey, Pebble Grey, Mocha, Slate Grey, Ansi 70 Grey, Ansi 49 Grey, Seal Beach Green and Rideau Brown. If you still can’t find the perfect colour for your railing system, we can custom colour match any desired colour!
What is powder coating?
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is applied electrostatically and is then gelled and cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a “skin.” All of the powder that is applied at our locations is “Super Durable Polyester”. We use only highest quality of exterior grade powder coating formulated to exceed one of the toughest paint standards in the industry for weathering specifications ~ AAMA 2604.
What types of railing systems are available?
We offer a wide variety of aluminum railing systems to suit any project. We have picket and glass styles, as well as various top rail designs, which can be top or fascia mounted. Are our railings environmentally friendly?
We are able to supply and install railings that are 100% recyclable.
Do we do custom work?
Yes! All our railings are fully customized. Simply select the style of railing, and colour you would like, and we are able to find a design scheme that works for you. We can also accommodate any height or unique angle requirements.
What kind of glass do we use?
We are proud to use locally sourced 6mm tempered glass in all standard balcony-railing settings. Colours and various custom tints are often introduced and we can increase the thickness of the glass up to 10mm depending on the project at hand. Available colours include shades of grey, blue, bronze, phased whites and more.
What is a bypass system?
Often times our clients are looking for a custom solution for their project. A bypass or fascia mounted system extends down past the framing of the residential deck or commercial slab. This provides a unique look for our clients.
What is the warranty associated with our railings?
We offer a one-year materials and labour warranty on all services and products.
